Astrallis: The Ashek

Salutations, my curious congregation! We're getting back on the explanation wagon with the next Astrallis species, and I'm going to try to keep this one as brief as possible considering this one has no cognate in normal D&D.

CWs: Probably swearing, I'm on a new parent sleep schedule so the irreverence is probably a little watered down right now. But bear with me.

Rowan Came Early

Salutations, my curious congregation! A brief update to let you know that the day before I was supposed to write this blog entry, the doctor decided my blood pressure was too high and I was admitted and my labor induced. So right now I am sitting in a hospital room recovering from delivery, with a perfectly healthy and just...perfect little boy.

So there won't be any blog entry today and I'll try to get back on schedule with the next one <3

Astrallis: The Oshka and Their Fleet

Salutations, my curious congregation! Today we're going to be talking about the halflings of my setting, who mechanically aren't super different from normal halflings, but culturally are quite different.

CWs: I swear and engage in regular displays of irreverence.

Astrallis: Three Different Kinds of Humans

Salutations, my curious congregation! Last time I rambled a little bit about the broad strokes of Astrallis as a setting, so now I'm going to get into the various playable species (and maybe the unplayable ones when I'm done with that, we'll see how I'm feeling about it when we reach that point).

CWs: I'm using 'species' instead of 'races' and I say fuck a lot. Also, we're going to be talking about the sheer concept of evolution. If any of that bothers you, there's the door.

A Conceptual Ramble About Astrallis

Salutations, my curious congregation!  I'm about to babble to you about the science fantasy campaign setting I've been working on for the past couple of years. My home group playtested it in its first campaign iteration just before Covid hit, took the campaign from 1-20 and I'm currently running another game for online friends on Discord. We've been doing a lot of playtesting of subclasses I've written for it, and if you're interested in space settings that incorporate magic, this might be up your alley.

Today I'm just going to be talking about what it is and where it comes from though. No particular details just yet, though expect more about it going forward since I've hit the point where I'm ready to talk about it in public.

CWs: Swearing, irreverence, and me badmouthing Warhammer. (Kind of; it's not bad for what it's intended to be, it just wasn't what I wanted and I'm going to talk a little bit about that so if that's going to offend you terribly I'll see you in the next one.)

General Life Updates

Salutations, my curious congregation. Sorry I've been doing so much soft personal stuff recently but I don't want to get out of the habit of writing blog entries, need to stay ahead of the curb, and I have a lot of personal nonsense going on, so I'm about to go on a ramble. Buckle up or move on ahead to the next one if there's a next one up.

CWs: Baby stuff. A good litmus test for whether or not you want to continue is whether or not the word 'cervix' makes you make a face. If you made a face, probably skip this one. If you laughed, how the fuck old are you? Also swearing. But if you're down to read five or six paragraphs of Robin Oversharing Life Details, click on.

Arcane Good

Salutations, my curious congregation. I'm just going to babble a little bit about the Arcane series based on League of Legends. Bear in mind that at the time I'm writing this the last three episodes haven't come out yet and by the time it actually comes out it'll be a couple weeks into December.

Okay, listen, I'm going to have a new baby in December, I want to take the month off, but I can't hiatus my blog after I just ended my blog hiatus. So you're going to have to deal with things not being timely for a couple of months, that's the compromise.

CWs: Spoilers for Arcane, probably swearing. Me splooging about something I highly enjoyed for however long this blog entry takes.
