Arcane Good

 Salutations, my curious congregation. I'm just going to babble a little bit about the Arcane series based on League of Legends. Bear in mind that at the time I'm writing this the last three episodes haven't come out yet and by the time it actually comes out it'll be a couple weeks into December.

Okay, listen, I'm going to have a new baby in December, I want to take the month off, but I can't hiatus my blog after I just ended my blog hiatus. So you're going to have to deal with things not being timely for a couple of months, that's the compromise.

CWs: Spoilers for Arcane, probably swearing. Me splooging about something I highly enjoyed for however long this blog entry takes.

Okay so first of all, I want to  RP in this setting. Like, give me that sweet tabletop and just let me run around in the underground for a little while and play with some of that sweet hextech they've got going on. I want to explore.

The aesthetic is very Khaladesh and I'm into it. The animation is excellent. It's like every frame of this thing was carefully controlled. And yes please. More than once I made my spouse pause the show so I could gush about how the visual short hands were perfectly measured out without being too much to convey exactly what they were trying to.

And sibling things hit me really hard to begin with so seeing everything going on with Vi and Jinx is just the berries to me. I'm eagerly awaiting the end and I cannot believe Netflix betrayed me like this by not giving me the whole season at once.

I am super invested in whether or not Vi and Caitlyn are going to be hooking up, and I've heard they're a fan favorite in the video game--which I don't play just for the record. I know nothing about it, it's not really my thing, so that should tell you how much I enjoyed the show. You don't have to have any idea about League to enjoy Arcane.

Anyway, they went out of their way in that brothel scene to show that Caitlyn is into women so I really hope they actually go the whole nine yards and let those girls be together. If I'm being queer-baited I am going to be sad for months, because this whole thing has been so well handled so far.

They touch each other for stupid reasons, you cannot convince me they aren't already stupid for each other and 'City Guard x The Convict She Broke Out of Prison' is such a good dynamic.

Alright, I won't keep you, I just needed to spill that all over the place.
